In the last stanza Donne equates his lover to all countries and himself to all rulers and says that nothing in the world is as important than him and his lover. Everything else except them is fake. He then says that they're twice as happy as the sun and that the whole world has contracted in their bedroom. He then asks the sun to take it easy and just shine on them and warm them. In the last two lines he says that his bedroom is the earth or in other words it's the center of the universe around which everything else revolves. The outer walls of the bedroom are the sphere of the sun; the farthest it can shine.

The main theme of this poem is war and it tells the story of a couple of new military recruits who are being trained and familiarized with different parts of their rifles and we get to read the wonderings of a young soldier as the instructor explains the different parts of a rifle.
In the second stanza the instructor is talking about the rifle's swivels and the young soldier is thinking about the branches of trees standing eloquently in the neighboring garden and how humankind is not eloquent when they perform acts of war and destroy the serenitiy and eloquence of the environment.

This poem is about a lonely and probably sad person who while passing by a lake comes across a field full of daffodils waving and dancing in the breeze. Seeing the daffodils dance filled the person's heart with joy and from then on whenever he felt sad he started thinking of the dancing daffodils which made him feel better.
The speaker uses simile when he says that he is wandering lonely as a cloud and then again when he says the daffodils are dancing like stars in the milky way. In the second line we see apostrophe in the word ''O'er''. Also by saying ''dancing daffodils'' the speaker is giving them a human trait and therefore we have personification in the poem as well.

In Hills like white elephants, Hemingway uses the objective point of view to tell the story. We see that the narrator works like a camera that only tells us the things that can be seen or heard and it doesn't (or can't) comment on what's happening or what's going on in the characters' minds.
