In the last stanza Doe equates his lover to all countries and himself to all rulers and says that nothing in the world is as important than him and his lover. Everything else except them is fake. He then says that they're twice as happy as the sun and that the whole world has contracted in their bedroom. He then asks the sun to take it easy and just shine on them and warm them. In the last two lines he says that his bedroom is the earth or in other words it's the center of the universe around which everything else revolves. The outer walls of the bedroom are the sphere of the sun; the farthest it can shine.
